What Is Quantum Jumping and the Multiple-Worlds Theory?
Are we living in a universe with infinite realities? How do we quantum jump between universes? How to get your ex back by quantum-jumping realities?
Multiple-worlds theory
Today, we’ll be exploring the idea of multiple worlds existing simultaneously. The multiple worlds theory within quantum mechanics proposes the existence of multiple parallel universes or alternate realities. We’ll talk about:
What is quantum jumping?
What are the basics of quantum mechanics?
What is the multiple-worlds theory?
How to quantum jump?
Are we always quantum jumping without even knowing it?
How does quantum jumping impact free will?
How to get back with your ex-boyfriend or girlfriend by quantum jumping into another universe? Yes, you read that right—it will make sense, I promise.
While the existence of parallel universes is strictly a theoretical concept, it would explain many of our experiences that don’t fit in with the standard model.
First, a little theory (heavily simplified)
The multiple worlds theory suggests that every quantum event, such as the outcome of a measurement or interaction, branches off into new universes, each representing a different possible outcome of that event.
In simpler terms, anything that can happen does indeed happen, but it happens in separate universes. When there are multiple possibilities, choices, and possible outcomes, alternate universes are created where all of the possibilities are played out.
So, the quantum particle spins up in one universe, and in another universe, it spins down. This branching process happens continuously with every quantum event, leading to an infinite number of parallel universes, each representing a different configuration of reality.
Superposition is a fundamental concept in quantum mechanics that describes the ability of particles to exist in multiple states simultaneously. In the quantum world, particles such as electrons, photons, and atoms can exist in a state of superposition, meaning they can be in multiple states simultaneously.
Once observed or measured, they collapse into one of the states. Does the observer determine what state it will collapse into, depending on the observer's expectations? Quite possibly, though almost impossible to prove.
Enough science - let’s boogie
Don’t worry. We won't get all scientific and pretend that we understand quantum mechanics. Far more intelligent people struggle with these concepts.
In this essay, I propose a simple idea—food for thought—that:
We are indeed living in a quantum reality with an infinite number of parallel universes.
We are constantly shifting between these endless realities, moving effortlessly from one world to another.
The mechanism for this quantum jumping is our mind (thoughts, vibration, energy).
Remember, we’re just having fun, so let us leave our old logic, material outlook, and cemented beliefs at the door. For me, and I’ve noticed I’m not the only one, a quantum reality where we jump effortlessly from one reality to another at all times, with every thought, decision, and action makes a lot of sense. It may or may not feel the same for you. Keep an open mind, and let’s play.
Infinite versions of the world imply infinite versions of you
Suppose endless universes are created every moment a variable is introduced, such as a decision, a dilemma, or simply more than one possibility. In that case, there are infinite versions of you out there in the multiverse.
Every time you made a decision or were presented with a minuscule number of options, reality split to satisfy all possible outcomes into infinity. But not just you. Every possible outcome or possibility of everyone and everything creates a new universe.
For our thought experiment, we will assume that these universes aren’t separated by an impenetrable barrier. On the contrary, all possible realities exist simultaneously, in essentially the same place, and we are gliding among them effortlessly without ever knowing we’re shifting our realities.
In biblical terms, creation is complete. Everything already exists simultaneously. Our consciousness is simply jumping from one moment to another, from one universe to another. What a crazy concept, right? Is it, though?
The surfer of multiple worlds
They love me still - they love me not
Let’s look at an example for an easier illustration. You were in a relationship until recently with someone you love. At some point, you fought and broke up. Among the billions of realities that were created in this time, there are, at the very least, the following ones:
A reality where you are still together, and the reason you broke up doesn’t even exist.
A reality where you are still together, the reason exists, but you found a way through.
A reality where you broke up but got back together again.
A reality where that person now hates you.
A reality where they still love you.
A reality where they want to get back together.
A reality where they would never agree to a relationship with you ever again.
A reality where you are both with other people and have never been together.
A reality where you don’t even know each other.
A reality where you will fall in love sometime in the future.
A reality where one or both of you don’t exist (never have or have passed away).
A reality where you are sad after the breakup.
A reality where you are happy after the breakup.
A reality where you have children.
A reality where you can’t have children.
You get the picture. At least one of the existing realities represents every possible outcome and situation. If it’s possible, it most likely exists somewhere in the multiverse. Mind-bending, I know.
Imagine that you are currently in a reality where you have broken up. Your former lover doesn’t love you anymore and wants nothing to do with you anymore, but you still love them and want to be together again.
This example will undoubtedly appeal more to my female readers, but there is a reson I chose it. We’ll get to that—it rhymes with “bree steel.”
Since the whole theme of this publication is mastering our minds to master our world, and we’re talking about quantum jumping between realities with our consciousness, you might already know where we’re going next. Don’t you?
The mind creates reality
If you’ve read any of my other work, you’ll know I’m a big advocate for the mind being the ruling and deciding factor in just about anything, including the fabric of reality itself.
Not only do our minds determine how we perceive everything, but they also create it. Usually, these concepts involve the simulation hypothesis, the law of attraction, or the law of assumption, faith, god, and so on, but today, we’re playing with physics. How mature of us.
From the perspective and theory we’re discussing today, we could argue that our minds literally create whole multiple realities, worlds, and universes, along with all the people and things they contain, all the time in the multiverse. Take a moment and think what that would imply.
Can you see it yet? No? Don’t worry. I’ve got you. But before we get into it, we must define consciousness.
What is consciousness? What are “you?”
Here’s a definition from a non-self-conscious Artificial Intelligence:
“Consciousness is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that encompasses our subjective awareness of ourselves, our thoughts, perceptions, sensations, and experiences. It is the state or quality of being aware of and able to perceive one's surroundings, thoughts, emotions, and sensations. Consciousness is central to our sense of self and plays a crucial role in shaping our understanding of the world and our interactions with it.”
One of the most beneficial and revealing exercises you can ever do is to meditate on the question “Who/what am I?” and allow the answers to come on their own. Persist in this meditation and repeat it often. Disregard the first answers that come to mind. Go deep. Here’s a hint:
You are not your body.
You are not your identity.
You are not your mind.
You are the awareness behind them all, the one who can use and observe them without being these things. The question remains: Can it survive without the body, mind, or identity? You tell me.
How does your concept of self and your consciousness survive the multiple worlds perspective?
Does that imply multiple, infinite versions of you out there? Are these people, consciousnesses, still “you” or someone else now? Does that mean you’re, in essence - a clone?
Are you a unique entity, the only “you” somehow taking control, perhaps possessing these other “yous” in multiple realities? How would that work? Are they in a state of superposition until you choose to enter their realm?
What happens to our consciousness when our reality splits at the crossroads? Is it copied? Is it halved? Does the other reality and the other you exist as an empty shell? Are all other realities where you are involved suspended in superposition?
Bonus question: Do these other realities even exist without your consciousness? In quantum physics, particles are stuck in superposition or a waveform until an observer is present. Only then do they collapse into one of the possible states. Without the observer, they exist in a state of all possible states/positions simultaneously. Something of a “limbo,” I suppose.
Things are getting complicated, aren’t they? Let’s return to our relationship example.
New relationship status - we’re in superposition
We’re together and not together at the same time. This stuff is fun - admit it! We’ve established that according to the multiple world theory, all possible versions and combinations exist in their separate universes. In essence, we are together and apart in what is most likely millions of different realities.
“But what has that got to do with me?” I hear you asking. “I just want to get back with my lover!” The answer is - everything!
Imagine that you are the person who broke up, from our example. You yearn to be back together, but the other person doesn’t want to hear it. They’ve blocked you everywhere and refuse to talk to you. I’m sorry, by the way. Give it time, it gets easier. Alternatively, you can quantum jump into another reality where they still love you and they beg you to come back to them.
“Wait, what?”
You heard me! That version of them exists out there in the multiverse. Millions of them. They’re waiting for you. There’s just a small matter of closing the distance between - hardly worth mentioning - freaking universes!
Now, now. Let us not despair. It might not be as hopeless as it would seem. What would any “self-help” internet guru worth his salt advise you to do?
Visualize yourself with this person. Imagine being together. See and hear them tell you how much they love and want to be with you. Feel the touch of their hands on you. See them in your home. In essence, make it feel real to you.
Affirm that you are already together. Deny reality before your eyes and convince your subconscious that you’re together, and it will be so. Affirmations are just thoughts. Saturate the mind enough, and your subconscious will begin to believe your new story, regardless of how untrue it may be.
Go into your previous lives and clear all the bad woo-woo from your past so that karma will now allow you to be loved… okay, I’m just making stuff up now and having a laugh. Unless you’re doing that. In that case - fingers crossed!
What would these visualizations and affirmations change in your reality?
How would that work? Please think about the mechanism for a moment.
Does it manipulate the other person into loving you, overriding their free will? Don’t they have the freedom to choose who they love?
Is it some magical potion that reignites the flame of love in their heart for you? They hated you, but now you’ve put a spell on them, and they instantly forgot all about it.
Are they vibrationally matching you with someone else who will love you of their own free will, as you are now a perfect vibrational match?
I promise I’m not making fun of the LOA. We’re on the same team here—”Team mind over matter.” I’m trying to point out a possible mechanism by which the mind influences reality.
If you perceive this reality you live in as the only one, and there is only one you and one “them,” then you are now, in effect, manipulating their will. I don’t think this is happening unless you’re dancing in front of them naked, appealing to their more primal urges. In that case - good on you, you sneaky fox!
Here’s an alternative explanation. One that doesn’t violate the sanctity of their free will, and where you seeing or thinking about being together with this person isn’t just wishful thinking but a train ticket into another reality.
Choo-choo! All aboard the train to another reality!
What if we’re sliding between different realities all the time?
What if that is what life is?
What if this is the only thing we do when we make a decision, think different thoughts, or choose a different path?
Let’s play with the idea that creation is indeed finished. All possible outcomes exist already, past, present, and future. It’s not time that moves. It’s us. We move from one universe to another all the time. I know it sounds silly, but hear me out.
First of all, if you have never experimented with trying to change your reality using nothing but your mind, then you haven’t experienced what intentional creation even feels like. You are blind to certain aspects of reality, whatever it is, as you live in a narrow tunnel of automated thought creation.
It’s not that your mind doesn’t create your reality, split universes, or cause minor miracles in your life (it does it all the time) - you’re just not aware of them, as you’ve never intentionally tested this ability. You see them as coincidences, rationally explainable events, and consequences of some actions.
Once you test the power of your mind and see the impossible results firsthand, you still won’t believe it. Opening your mind to this possibility will likely take several confirmed experiments with highly improbable outcomes. It’s okay. I’m not going to convince you otherwise.
I have hundreds of personal experiences and see these patterns everywhere, where the purely materialistic description of the universe makes zero sense. The mind is all—literally. That is my conclusion, anyway. The mechanism, the nature of reality, and how it all works—now that is up for debate.
Back to our example of heartbroken lovers. If you, who want to get back together again, manage to switch to a universe where the other person shares this desire, you’re golden. In infinite versions of reality, there is bound to be at least one where the other person wants to be with you again.
You’ve broken no one's free will, you haven’t manipulated anyone, and more importantly, unless this whole thing you call “reality” is in your head (simulation, dream, mind illusion), then you simply chose another version of them out there who, on their own volition, wants the same thing you want. Makes sense?
Let me repeat:
You’re not manipulating anyone, violating anyone’s free will, creating a miracle, poisoning, or putting a spell on anyone. That person who hates you will still hate you. They will stay in their reality.
You have not changed their mind. You’ve simply chosen a different reality where another version of them desires you and crossed over to them. In an infinite multiverse with infinite possibilities, you’ve chosen the one that you like.
This person, while being the same one, isn’t technically the same person from the same universe anymore but from one that branched away. Quite possibly, neither are you. Don’t worry about such details. From your perspective, there is no difference. You do this quantum jumping all the time and don’t notice it happening.
Let’s tie this all together
You broke up. The other person hates you, but you want to get back together again. You believe them when they say they never want to see you again and will never be with you. You listen to your spiritual guru, shut your eyes to reality, and visualize, affirm, and believe that you are back together and everything is even better than before.
Maybe, for the sake of argument, you imagined them ringing your doorbell, which they never do, confessing their love to you by wearing a specific shirt and saying particular words you want to hear. You know well that “your version of this person” will never do that. They’ve made it clear. Besides, you were specific, and it would take a miracle for them to follow your script to the letter, wouldn’t it? You haven’t had any contact with them since.
Alas, after a few weeks or months of your self-brainwashing and denying reality, the doorbell rings, and that person professes their love for you, wearing and saying precisely what you envisioned they would. Everything is the exact replica of what you saw in your imagination. Your heart is healed, but your mind is blown!
Now, what are the odds of that?
Honestly, it's not great—almost zero in a strictly materialistic universe. But here’s the thing: Such things happen all the time to millions worldwide. I’ve imagined people saying things they never would while acting like they never had and have experienced it to the last detail countless times.
It’s scary and can make you question your sanity until you realize that you live in a simulation, dream, or multiverse with infinite possibilities. Any of those will do to calm your confused mind and make sense of things you’re experiencing. Hopefully. Unless you’re religious. Then God did it, and you’re done—easy, peasy.
Congrats, you switched universes
Or you created a new reality that fits this new idea of yours. Pick your poison, but a strictly materialistic, one-universe outlook simply won’t do anymore. When you realize that you can manipulate your reality just by thinking different thoughts, including the people in it, you’re bound to question everything. Wellcome to the club, oh wondering one.
How does quantum jumping work?
We’re back to the old “the mind is all” understanding. Either everything happens in the mind, or the mind has no power over reality. This is my working thesis, which I like to play with in this publication.
Today, however, we’re discussing the idea that we live in a multiple-worlds reality, where all possible outcomes exist simultaneously in different realities. We’re just moving among them. The mechanism for creation or manifestation remains the same. You change your mind, and the world changes with it.
Does it matter whether your mind creates this thing you perceive as reality or merely jumps between different existing realities? I would think you’d be much more interested in how you can implement desired changes to “your reality” using your mind. Am I wrong?
However we look at things, it becomes evident that the mind, and with it our subconscious mind, is the deciding power here. Since we can’t just close our eyes and imagine a new reality, initiating a quantum jump, we have to find a way to convince our subconscious mind that we are already there - in the desired reality. Come to think of it, maybe we can if we program this directive into our subconscious mind. Who knows?
Anyway, the classical methods of brainwashing yourself into a better life also apply to quantum jumping. We have to think different thoughts, imagine a different reality, and, through those mechanisms, with persistence, override the existing dominant thoughts we call beliefs. We deny “our reality” and convince our minds that we are already living in a different one.
When we do this, we effectively change our subconscious mind, which is running the show. It then automatically proves us correct and makes the switch for us. The inner and the outer world must be the same. When we change within, the other reality must reflect this change.
Maybe we create a new reality, change the existing one, or simply jump into one of the already existing realities. The main difference is that we are allowing for the possibility that we are not, in fact, changing our reality and manipulating matter and people but are jumping to another universe where our desires already exist.
Doesn’t that make things simpler and easier?
You don’t have to create anything; you just move into another reality where the thing you want to experience, be, or have are already yours.
You don’t manipulate your ex-partner into loving you again. You choose another version of them from the multiverse and jump into that reality. They can’t wait to see you there.
You don’t have to find a way to create more money from your existing situation. You simply choose the reality where that problem has been solved by another you. In that reality, you always had money, and being abundant is normal for you.
You don’t have to heal your body. You simply jump realities into another body that is already healthy. In that reality, you never got sick in the first place. You’ve always been healthy.
Do you see where I’m getting at? Does any of this make sense to you? Does changing the things you struggle with so much seem easier or harder now?
Pick the reality you like and jump
A lovely visual example would be choosing a movie from a streaming service. You hold the remote and are simply choosing what to watch or experience. You don’t have to create or add those movies to the library. This particular library already contains all the movies that could ever exist. Your mind is the remote. You have to imagine what you want to see, and the streaming service will play the movie you chose. Again, it's not exactly difficult once you understand the mechanism, is it?
When you face a situation you don’t like, you now understand that you don’t have to stay there. You can jump or slide into another reality where things are different. The mechanism is your mind. The tools are simple—as long as you replace the thoughts, images, and beliefs of the unwanted with the wanted, you’re good.
Persist until your subconscious accepts the new ideas as fact, and the rest will take care of itself. It must match your outer world with your inner world. There is no choice and no permission to be given in the matter. All of those realities already exist. You’re the captain of this ship. Point the way and don’t just be carried by the currents.
Your mind is either the sole creator and manipulator of perceived reality or the quantum jumper. Either way, your job is clear. Intentionally convince your subconscious mind that you are living in a different reality, whatever that means for you, and it must match it.
From my experience, the question is not what is possible but whether you can believe it and convince yourself at the deepest levels that you already live in that new reality. In effect, you must live in a superposition yourself, with your body in this reality and your mind in the next one, until you merge with the one you desire.
Quantum jumping is easy - you do it all the time
I have one more thought on this quantum jumping or manifesting, if you prefer that term. It’s not difficult. It’s not something only certain superhumans can do. You and I do it all the time.
Your mind is constantly creating or jumping realities, and this has been true your whole life. Every thought and image in your head has directed that journey. Everything you see in your reality has thus been created, or you’ve jumped billions of times to this exact iteration of your reality.
Either everything is the mind's creation or is the result of quantum jumping, or nothing is. The only difference is that you do it unintentionally, with every thought you think, and now you’re trying to do it intentionally. That is it. That’s all there is to it. It’s not something new. You’re not “doing” the creating or jumping.
All you have to do is filter and direct what you feed your subconscious mind. It will do what it has always done, automatically and effortlessly, without pause - match the outside world or perceived reality with your thoughts and beliefs.
Experiment, dear one. That is all I can advise you. Don’t take things too seriously. Keep an open mind. Experiment with everything. See for yourself if any of this makes sense. I do it all the time. Collect feedback, pivot, correct, and try again.
Can you make people say what you want them with your mind?
Can you cause changes in your life just by changing your thoughts?
Can you find patterns in your life and the lives of others, from dominant beliefs, thoughts, fears, and desires to experiences and situations?
Good luck jumping someplace lovely.
