How to wake up from the simulation?
Here are three possible ways to peek outside the simulation where you live. What does it feel like to wake up from the simulation, and should you do it?
Perhaps you’ve also noticed a trend of more people waking up from the simulation. CEOs are quitting their successful positions all of a sudden. There are more and more mentions of the simulation from the mouths of great thinkers and your average Joes alike.
Does this mean that the simulation is cracking, waking people?
No. There have always existed people who looked beyond the veil of reality and have seen this world for what it is: an illusion of the mind, a projection of the inner world, a mind-made simulation.
Think Jesus, Buddha, and the rest of the religious leaders and gurus, Greek philosophers like Socrates and Plato, and more modern-day thinkers and scientists like Einstein and Tesla. Even today’s smartest people, like Elon Musk, are convinced we live in a simulation of sorts. Sure, they used their own descriptions and labeling. Still, they all described a world beyond this material reality.
The three paths toward enlightenment or awakening from the simulation are:
A near-death experience (NDE) or intense trauma
Many who have briefly departed this world recollect a mental existence beyond it.
Extreme trauma might not transport your consciousness elsewhere, but it can free you emotionally and mentally beyond what you’ve ever known and felt.
Hallucinogenic experience either through hallucinogenic drugs or prolonged meditation
It is said that the mind contains all the answers if we look within and remain quiet for long enough to receive them. There is a lot of truth to this statement.
The mind could be connected to all the minds and the whole universe, or it could be the only real thing. There are ways to access hidden knowledge, and meditation or hallucinogen drugs can unlock that door.
Deductive reasoning by examining the evidence experimentation
Reading about people who have seen and understood the world beyond the senses can help open one’s mind to new possibilities. However, it is not enough.
Learning a theory is one thing; seeing it in practice by experimentation will cement the newly acquired knowledge and possibly invite even more questions.
These aren’t the only ways to wake up. Whatever gets you there will do just fine.
My personal experience
I would count myself as partial to all three, though I’ve never touched hallucinogenic drugs, nor has my heart stopped beating to arrange a meeting with Matilda.
I have nearly died and had my life turned upside down and mediated until I knew only peace, love, and oneness. I have done diligent research and experimentation to prove to myself that these theories aren’t just wishful thinking.
Most people are believers and followers in need of direct guidance. They rely on their leaders to explain things and believe every word.
I never operated that way and find it useful for altering beliefs but absurd, unrelatable, and dangerous. Blind fate was unfortunately never an option for me, despite being raised in a sort of religious cult thingy. I have to see and understand things myself, or I remain skeptical.
How will you know you awoke from the simulation or have become enlightened?
The short answer is - you’ll know! A longer one might include the following:
You’ve realized that your world is not what it seems. It’s not the ultimate reality. It’s not material.
You’ve seen and experienced things that are impossible in a material universe, which is how we perceive it with our senses and generally understand it.
You now see connections and patterns everywhere, like the code behind the program or video game.
After your “experience, “you feel immense inner peace, love, and oneness, even if only briefly.
You have been disillusioned with “normal life and priorities.” Jobs, money, careers, fame, etc., most likely mean very little to you since you realize they are ultimately worthless and you don’t need them to be whole and complete.
Waking up from the simulation is not all rainbows and roses!
Take this warning seriously! Many never recover from such experiences, and their former lives crash down on them.
People have left their careers, jobs, businesses, and even families to process what happened or live an entirely different existence.
I, too, experienced something like this
All that I believed and worked for my entire life had gone to hell and became utterly pointless and worthless overnight. All I wanted to do was lock myself away with books and try to understand what was happening.
I did just that to some extent while still keeping in contact with the world through relationships. Nothing of the “normal and average” variety interested me in the slightest anymore.
I’ll be honest. I’m not sure I wouldn’t have just ended some eternally wandering hobo, and I have only the love of my family and girlfriend to thank otherwise.
Proceed down this road at your own risk
The benefits are great, but the danger is real and sometimes irreversible!
If you struggle to understand why some people seem to fall off the deep end after experiencing but a glimpse of enlightenment, consider this:
What would it feel like if you realized that you lived in a simulation and nothing was real?
What would a realization of life being a game, an illusion, do to everything you believed, worshiped, and worked for?
What would be the point and motivation to participate in the modalities of this world after you’ve experienced the oneness, infinite love, and a completely different reality beyond the simulation?
